Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Belonging (DEIB) Coordinator
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Coordinator to join the secondary team at the European School The Hague.
In this part-time role, you will play a key part in fostering a school culture that embraces and celebrates diversity. You will collaborate closely with the Support Coordinators for Academics and Social-Emotional Wellbeing, as well as the wider pastoral and academic teams, to ensure that our school remains a safe, inclusive and equitable environment for all students and staff.

As a Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
Coordinate school-wide DEIB efforts by chairing the DEIB Committee, aligning initiatives with school priorities and setting annual goals. Monitor progress and report updates to the leadership team and the wider school community.
Support the integration of inclusive practices in teaching, student leadership and school life. Support the formation of student groups focused on DEIB and collaborate with pastoral staff to embed DEIB principles into safeguarding, behaviour and well-being frameworks.
Organise school-wide awareness initiatives (e.g. cultural heritage weeks and Black History Month) and lead proactive DEIB communications to share progress and engage the school community.
Identify staff training needs in collaboration with leaders and external specialists and support the review of school policies and communications through an inclusive lens.
Act as a point of contact for identity-related concerns among staff and students, ensuring that issues are addressed appropriately and sensitively.
