MYP & DP Physics teacher

As an MYP and DP Physics teacher, you will teach Physics to students in grades 9, 10 and 11 (Middle Years Programme Years 4 & 5 and Diploma Programme Year 1), at Standard and/or Higher Level. You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, designing assessments, and guiding students through the internal assessment process together with your colleague Physics. You will work closely with the MYP and DP Coordinator, Head of Department and colleagues to ensure a coherent and high-quality learning experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Teaching MYP and DP Physics (app. 11 hours per week)
• Designing lesson plans and learning materials aligned with the IB Physics guide
• Supervising and providing feedback on student Internal Assessments (IAs)
• Contributing to curriculum review and departmental development
• Participating in relevant IB professional development opportunities
• Maintaining regular communication with students, parents, and colleagues
