# **Teacher of ICT**
**(0.208 FTE)**
_As a Teacher of ICT, you will be joining a supportive, welcoming and successful team, with excellent outcomes._
**Requirements**
– Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in the subject of ICT (or equivalent) **OR**
– Fully qualified teacher status for Secondary Education in the country the qualification is obtained, and in the subject of ICT (**for UK/Ireland/Scotland: you have been awarded QTS and have successfully completed – or are exempted from – the statutory induction period**)
– Your teaching qualification must meet the standards required by the Dutch Education Authorities (DUO) (First-degree teaching/ Eerste graads)
– Excellent command of the English language (C2 level)
**Recommendations**
– Experience in teaching the age group 11-18
– Experience meeting the individual needs of students
– Experience working with EAL students
– Experience international or intercultural education
– Experience teaching ICT to EB, IB, or GCE A levels
– Willingness to be involved in extra-curricular and after school activities
– Genuine interest in the field of ICT & Computer Science
– Open mindset and ability to develop efficient student and parents relationships
– Knowledge of other EU languages is an advantage
**We offer**
– An appointment based on the Dutch teachers’ collective labour agreement for secondary education (CAO VO) on the relevant pay scale. The specific step in the scale depends on relevant background and experience
– A permanent contract subject to the successful completion of the one year probationary period and the recognition of teaching qualifications by the Dutch Education Authorities (DUO)
